Established in 2015We recognize the challenges communities face when there are low-performing schools, high rates of crime, and lack of post-secondary education. Using an asset-based approach to services we have shaped our programs to meet the unique needs of the Alton Park Community.

Our MissionThe mission of The Net Resource Foundation is to challenge systemic issues through mentorship and community-building programs in the South Chattanooga Community. We strongly believe that by being an active part of the community and assessing the needs from within, we can better serve our citizens and deliver high-quality programs customized to impact our neighborhood. Since our initial outreach in 2015, we have successfully impacted families through our after-school, summer youth, community feeding, and civic engager programs.

Why The Net?
The name "NET" has a Biblical foundation (Matthew 13:47). The idea comes from
the indiscriminate nature of fishing with a dragNET. When fishing with this kind of NET that drags the
bottom of the sea, one does not only catch fish but also the other "stuff" at the bottom of the
sea. At The Net Resource Foundation we understand the complexities' of certain contexts and
the "stuff" that comes with it. Therefore, we attempt to address the whole person with their unique
challenges in mind.
